Every person wants to feel SEEN, HEARD, and UNDERSTOOD. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from. We wall want to be KNOWN. This is why we all desire a community where we can belong.

The power and blessing of community is that it offers this very thing. The challenge though is that community is something we can so easily take for granted or neglect until we are in desperate need of it. The early church writers knew that there was great significance in community, and that without it we would feel lost or isolated. That’s why the author of Hebrews encouraged us to continue meeting together and provoking each other to good works.

In this week’s message at Meta Church, Pastor Ricky Ortiz shares a word about the significance of being fully engaged in our church community. And, no, this is not your typical “you should be in church” type of sermon. This sermon is about stewarding the uniqueness and special qualities that we find in our own community at Meta Church. We’ve been gifted something distinct and special, and we don’t want to lose sight of that.
