All parents share moments with their children that make them proud… Whether it’s when their child said their first word, learned how to walk, rode a bicycle, or accomplished an academic achievement ā€“ these types of moments produce pride and celebration for every parent.

Similarly, our Heavenly Father is proud of His children when they live and abide by His Kingdom principles. The challenge is that His Kingdom principles are often paradoxical in nature. On the surface, they seem contradictory, but when exercised we see that they lead to His Kingdom growing and advancing just as He intends. But this is exactly the way of the Kingdom! God’s governing principles are often unconventional and almost always countercultural. This is on purpose because He’s called us to be different and live differently.

In this week’sĀ Kingdom Come sermon, Pastor Ricky Ortiz shares the overarching principle of the Kingdom that ā€“ when lived out ā€“ causes our Heavenly Father to be proud of us.
