The word commitment has increasingly become a “dirty” word. Across our culture and society, it seems like more and more people are becoming less and less committed.
Mention commitment in relation to work, friends, or relationships and people quickly push back and find reasons as to why they cannot be committed. They’re less willing to stick things out in a relationship, at a place of employment, or even in simple tasks.
This trend has also permeated faith and Christianity as well. People who identify as followers of Jesus are increasingly becoming less committed to cultivating intimacy with Him. The problem is there is no intimacy with God apart from full commitment and devotion to Him.
In this final message from our DEVOTED series, Pastor Ricky Ortiz shares examples from the life of Paul to guide us toward being fully committed to God at every stage of life and in every season of life.
