When you think about the claims made in the Easter story, it all seems quite outrageous. That God came to live on this earth in human form, named Jesus, and that He lived a sinless life, died on a cross for the sins of the world, only to be raised to life again, and now His grace grants eternal life to all who believe… That all just seems OUTRAGEOUS! Even for those who embrace and believe these claims, it can still sound or feel like it’s a bit too good to be true.

Yet, every year during Easter weekend, billions of people all over the world will gather together because of those very claims. So why is that? Why is it that so many people who don’t know what they even think about Jesus or His claims will gather for Easter Sunday?

Well, as Pastor Ricky Ortiz shares in this year’s Easter message at Meta Church, that’s probably because we all long for some type of grace in our lives. We all know what it’s like to live in a world filled with ungrace. We know what it’s like to not be offered any second chances, to be labeled a failure, or to feel like we’ll never move forward.

But the Easter story offers us something different. It tells us there is grace available for everyone! And in this week’s message, Pastor Ricky Ortiz shares exactly how and why we can have the confidence that grace really is available to us all.
